Welcome to our website and we hope you enjoy your visit. Windy Hill Farm has been in the family for over 160 years. We are located in Northern Illinois near Kewanee. Our family consists of Burt, Nanette and our son and even Grandma and Grandpa are an important part of our operation! Our main focus is producing , show quality percentage does, superior show wethers for the Midwest show circuit and a limited number of quality fullbloods. We are very proud of the herd we assembled and are very excited about our future. Photos and pedigrees of many of our current breeding stock are available on this website. We continually update our website so please check back often.
Boer goats are a fantastic family project. They bring us closer together through the hard work and fun times we have with them. We dedicate a considerable amount of time to promoting the Boer Goat breed. Burt is a past president of the board of directors for the Illinois Meat Goat Association and Nan serves on the ABGA 2010 National Show Committee and is a frequent contributor of articles to the ABGA magazine. We are also founding sponsors of the Illinois Wether Series. We are very active in showing throughout the Midwest and enjoy organizing seminars and hosting judging clinics at our local junior college, Black Hawk College of Kewanee, Illinois. We are also superintendents of an the Henry County Fair ABGA Sanctioned Boer Goat Show in Cambridge, Illinois, one of the largest sanctioned shows in Illinois.
