Bea is our herd matriarch.  She is by far the smartest and also the top producer in our herd.  I've seen Bea hold up the fence so that her partners in crime can escape beneath it.  She is out of one of the original imports from South Africa.  Her sire is a Jurgen Schultz buck named Zula.  Bea is a truly consistent producer of champions.  Her 2005 doe, Windy Hill Ashley, won Grand Champion Over-All Percentage Doe at the 2006 Illinois State Fair Junior Show. She produced several winning show does for the Jim and Christine Brown family as well.  Bea's wether, born December 27, 2006, was purchased by Michael Earles & Chris Curry of Mechanicsburg, Illinois, and won the 2007 Grand Champion Open Market Wether show at the Illinois State Fair!  We retained one doe kid from the 2005 triplets, Windy Hill Spot, and have high hopes for her as well.  We love Bea's powerful build and her long elegant neck and gorgeous front end.  She also has a "regal bearing" about her that carries into her kids.

Note:  Sadly, we lost Bea shortly after kidding in October, 2007.  Bea left us with a gorgeous girl, aptly named "Finale."
