       Welcome to our website and we hope you enjoy your visit. Windy Hill Farm has been in the family for over 160 years. We are located in Northern Illinois just outside the town of Kewanee. Our family consists of Burt, Nanette and our son and even Grandma and Grandpa are an important part of our operation! Our main focus is producing superior show wethers for the Midwest show circuit, show quality percentage does, and a limited number of quality fullbloods. We are very proud of the herd we assembled and are very excited about our future. Photos and pedigrees of many of our current breeding stock are available on this website. We continually update our website so please check back often.

   Boer goats are a fantastic family project.  They bring us closer together through the hard work and fun times we have with them.  We dedicate a considerable amount of time to promoting the Boer Goat breed.  Burt is a past president of the board of directors for the Illinois Meat Goat Association and Nan serves on the ABGA Magazine Committee and is a frequent contributor of articles to the magazine.  We are very active in showing throughout the Midwest and enjoy organizing seminars and hosting judging clinics at our local junior college, Black Hawk College of Kewanee, Illinois.  We are also superintendents of two Illinois Boer Goat shows  including the Henry County Fair in Cambridge, Illinois.

"CLD1 Tangletree's Ivy Damage".  Ivy earned 105 points during her 2007 show season.  Pictured above as a nine month old winning Grand Champion Overall Percentage Doe at the Iowa State Fair.  Ivy raised a set of triplet wethers this spring, they will be available at the Perfect Storm Wether and Show Doe Sale in Chebanse, Illinois on April 25, 2009.  Please contact us for more details or visit our for sale page for more information about the sale.
